all of these sports require rotational power in the hips. if an athlete has stiff hips they will not have as much rotational power as they could. improving hip mobility will help a golf swing, tennis swing, or boxing punch.

there are a few movements in the hip that are needed for countless movements.

that’s why we come to the gym. we get our big fundamental movements down - rotation in the hip - and then head out and practice our technique. we need movement in order to achieve technique
